1970’s Railroading in the Twin Cities Event

On Sunday, June 20th, 2021 – 2pm the museum is hosting a slide show of railroading in the Twin Cities area in the 1970s as a fundraiser. Cost to attend this fundraiser is $10, and includes full access to the Museum that day. The presentation is about 1 hour in length.

You will be trackside at all the main train watching locations in the 1970s including all three Twin Cities railway stations, Soo Line Shoreham yard, CNW Cedar Lake yard, the Stone Arch Bridge, GN Dale Street Shops, NP Como Shops, Northtown, Rock Island Inver Hills yard, Milwaukee hump yard, CB&Q St. Paul yard, and the NP Mississippi Street Shops. All railfans and members of the public are invited to attend this special event. If we overflow seating in the room, we will let you see the layouts and attend a second 3pm showing if needed.

The slide show will be in the main conference room as you enter the building. Get your admission tickets at tcmrm.eventbrite.com
